Announced in early January at CES 2016, the ZTE Grand X 3 is now available to buy in the US, being exclusively offered by Cricket Wireless. Just like plenty of other smartphones in Cricket's line-up, the ZTE Grand X 3 is an affordable device that packs decent features - at least for its price point. The Grand X 3 is a pretty large device, as it sports a 5.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels. The processor that's powering the phone is a modest quad-core Snapdragon 212 clocked at 1.3 GHz, but at least there's 2 GB of RAM to go along with it. LTE connectivity is on board, and you've got an 8 MP camera on the back, plus a 2 MP one on the front. Other features include 16 GB of internal memory, microSD card support, and a 3080 mAh removable battery with quick charging capabilities. The Grand X 3 runs near stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and there's no word on when (or if) it's going to be updated to Marshmallow. Check out our ZTE Grand X 3 hands-on to see why we liked the smartphone when we played with it at CES. The ZTE Grand X 3 costs $129.99 - no contract required. Customers who switch from another service provider can buy the handset for just $79.99, while also getting $50 bill credit when they bring their number to Cricket. So, who's interested?
