After installing the app, you are asked to select which apps you want the dynamicSpot to work with (you can select ALL by tapping on the upper right corner of the screen). You also must give dynamicSpot permission to access your notifications as well as everything on your display. The developers say that they don't collect user data or share your personal information with third parties.

There are some customization options including one that allows two notifications to be shown at the same time. Since I had enough Play Store credit from answering surveys from the Google Rewards Survey app, I upgraded to Pro. Doing that allowed me to choose to receive dynamicSpot reminders when the battery is being charged, when the battery is 15% or lower, and when the battery is fully charged. With the Pro tier, you can also set the app to see the dynamicSpot on the lock screen.
Look, this really isn't as smooth and polished as the Dynamic Island is. But until an Android phone manufacturer comes up with a real Dynamic Island rival, you can experience some of the feel of the multitasking tool on your Android phone by installing dynamicSpot.
