A long time ago, back in July 2014, we told you that HTC is reportedly working on a couple of tablets. One of these, as we all know, turned out to be nothing else but the Google Nexus 9, which combines drool-inducing specs (for a tablet) and was made by HTC, featuring its own exterior design. The second mysterious slate that we had heard of, however, easily got forgotten.Well, rumors of it have been rekindled once again. According to one of the more active leakers out there, @upleaks, HTC is still poised to treat us to its own tablet sometime in 2015. The rumor mill claims that this device is quite similar to the Nexus 9 - it's allegedly having the same dimensions, which further hints us that the overall design will probably be quite reminiscent of the newest Google tablet.
The specs, however, are tipped to be different from the ones of the Nexus 9, but there is no info whether these will be better or worse. Sound logic suggests that the longer HTC works on the device, the better specs it will sport when it arrives.
Don't hold your breath, though - as @upleaks puts it, the the device won't make the rounds in Q1 2015, thus it might skip the MWC expo next month. If HTC is actually working on a new tablet, of course.
