Last year, Microsoft informed the world that it was working on a mobile app which would allow us to take shake-free timelapse videos. Starting today, the app can be downloaded on select Windows Phone and Android devices. Called Microsoft Hyperlapse, the new application is similar to Instagram's Hyperlapse app, which is currently available only on iOS.The Microsoft Hyperlapse app is free, and lets you create timelapse videos at various speed rates, from 1x to 32x. Windows Phone users can install the app on the following devices: HTC One M8 for Windows, Lumia 435, Lumia 530, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 636, Lumia 638, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 930, and Lumia 1520.As for Android, Hyperlapse is currently a beta app, so it's not yet available from Google Play. But you can join the Microsoft Hyperlapse Mobile for Android community (see the second source link below) to get access to the application. Right now, the app can be installed on these Android devices: Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Google Nexus 5, Google Nexus 6, Google Nexus 9, HTC One M8, HTC One M9, and Sony Xperia Z3.
