Sony Ericsson has unveiled the W700 - the 8th addition two its line of walkman phones as a part of its announcements from this year's CTIA Wireless tradeshow. The bar-designed device is very similar to the manufacturer's first Walkman phone – W800. The W700, however, comes in a different Titanium Gold colour and expands the built-in memory to 256 MB. The tri-band GSM phone features:

  • 1.8-inch 262k color TFT display

  • 2.0 mega pixels camera with video capture

  • 256MB internal memory (holds up to 6 CDs)

  • Memory Stick PRO Duo

  • Walkman player (also works when the phone is off)

  • Battery, providing up to 30 hours music playing time

  • Graphical equalizer and Mega Bass support

  • FM radio with RDS

  • Bluetooth 2.0/USB 2.0/IrDA connectivity

  • Built-in Speakerphone

Sony Ericsson W700 is expected to be released in Q2 2006 and in some markets it will be offered in a Smooth White colour variant as well.
